Analysis of Episodes: Part 3
The final post for this project will be the analysis on the final episode of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." Everyone in the family has made a move in their lives, except Will. Hilary is headed for New York for the uprising and national attention of her show, Ashley will be going as well to attend the school of performing arts. Carlton will be heading to Princeton, his lifelong dream since the show began to follow the footsteps of his father. Geoffrey is going back to London to be with his long lost son Frederick and will be resigning as the family butler. Nikki will be starting kindergarten and even Uncle Phil and Aunt Vivian are thinking about moving east to stay with the family. Will is going to be the only one in California where he has nowhere to live and no plans for his future after graduating from ULA. The show revolves around Will and his search for an apartment as the move to sell the mansion is a surprise to him. He eventually has to admit to the family he has nowhere to live and Uncle Phil, as usual, comes to the rescue. He gets Will an apartment, encourages him to finish in school in California and is positive that he has reached the potential that he saw when he first moved into the house. The show ends with the departure of each cast member one by one and ending with Will turning the lights out of the main stage and the lights of an amazing show that is "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."
